Width Profile Editing

Is there a way to edit the width profile to something other than uniform on the iPad? All I have been able to figure out is changing the brush but it's not doing what I want it to. I also tried exporting my ai file to my computer Illustrator, however it won't let me select the vectors I have already "drawn" to edit their width profile.

With the brush you are drawing shapes. There are no width profiles to edit.
