Hi all! Looking for some tips on how to accomplish this.
I have two png files. One with a bunch of text that has a transparent background. The other png file is a transparent heart shape. Each is placed in a separate layer. I want to put the text into the heart shape with the letters only showing within the heart shape.
What is the best way to accomplish this effect?
Thanks in advance!
stwoods,
Illy (job description Adobe Illustrator) is always eager to help, but she really prefers to work with vector artwork.
The obvious way of limiting something to show within a heart shape is to have the heart shape as a (vector) path and use that for a Clipping Mask.
You could redraw the path on top of the PNG heart shape, or use Image Trace (and expand) to create a stroked vector path, and use that for the Clipping Mask.
