Wrapping Text on 3D Word

Hello,
I'm wondering how to wrap text onto the beveled edge of a 3d word.  Please see the attached photo of what I'm trying to achieve.

It might get a heap of work because of how Illustrator generates the shapes, but here's how you apply artwork mapping: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/creating-3d-objects.html
