Zoom tool-Illustrator

Hey,

Having issues with the zoom tool the past few days. Zooming out is fine but zooming in goes crazy and jumps way too far in. Works just fine one moment and then decides to go all strange! 

I've reset, which sometimes works, sometimes not. 

Is anyone else having similar issues?

Without any system info nobody can evcen guess. Most likely these are simply issues with the hardware acceleration functions or an overly sensitive input device.
