Making my styles in InCopy match my InDesign styles

I want to set my InCopy paragraph styles and character styles to match the defaults I have set in my InDesign document.

I have a set of paragraph styles and character styles that I use in all my InDesign documents.

Can I export my paragraph styles and character styles from my InDesign document and put them into InCopy so that when I create a new InCopy document they will always be there?

If so, can someone point me in the right direction on how to do this. I have search and just can’t find any info on this.

Open the paragraph or character styles panel and then from the panel menu choose load all text styles. Navigate to the INDD file and click okay.
