When opening a document in In Copy, I end up on the masters page from my designer's In Design document. I do not see the page 8 for example. Also I only have the possibility to view by Galley view, the others are not available. Also, When I double click on the file, it does not open anymore, it only download on my machine. Anyone can help me please?

Not even close to enough detail to help. How are you opening the document? Is it an INDD, ICML, or an assignment file? Are you sure there is InCopy content to edit?

What version of InCopy? What operating system?

Hi again, The designer works with a MAC OS Sequoia 15. 3.1 and In Design 18.5.2. Then creates an assignment for editors that work with a pc. They have In Copy 20.1 (2025). When editors open the .icma file, they need to download the file (they used to be able to open it directly before)... Other members in our group work like this and everything is OK. But for some reason, editors cannot see the layout and make modifications anymore. The end up on the masters page from In Design instead of the layout on page 8 for example when they open the .icma document.

First off, everyone needs to be on the same version. That means everyone moves to InDesign and InCopy 2025. Secondly, stop using assignments. There's no need for them in such a small workgroup. Instead, the InCopy users can simply open the INDD file in InCopy and check out the InCopy stories that way.

The problem we have is we are working on a shared onedrive. So we cannot open In Design directly from the one drive. We need to work on a shared link on our machine, we can open .icma files though... but not at the moment, it does not work, it asks us to download and then we loose all links.

Why can't you open the INDD files? As long as everyone has full access to the folders and they are fully synched (turn off cloud only) it should not be a problem

What setting did the designer make when creating the assignement?

However, the "ending up on a master page" is concerning. I would repeat Bob's advice and get everyone on the same version.
