I am a new corporate user. What looks like a copyright line appears on every page of every file I open.  See upload.  TMy email address changed so I had to update my license and the problem persists!! his overlays text I'm trying to edit. It isn't an image I can grab and delete. How do I get rid of it? Help!  Thanks 🙂

If you can't check it out, you can't change it. It's impossible to help you without much more information and even a look at the file.

Thank you. I can check out the document just fine. I can edit text throughout the document fine. But because this "image" overlays a bit of text on every page, I can't "get under" it to edit that text. It happens on every single icap.  Would you like me to upload a whole icap file here?

Check to see if it's on a different layer and turn it off.

I would recommend a new workflow however. ICAP is an archaic, and problem-plagued method. Instead use a shared Dropbox / OneDrive folder where all assets are shared among the participants.

As an InCopy user, you'd then open the INDD file using InCopy and do all your edits that way. If this is still an issue, again, we're going to need to see more.
