I'm having a strange problem with fonts in InDesign. The specific font I'm dealing with is Lavigne. All of its versions are activated in Creative Cloud. It shows up and is usable on my iMac desktop. But, it is not showing up on my laptop. Same adobe account. I'm logged in. I've toggled the off/on buttons in CC several times. I've closed and re-opened InDesign. I've rebooted my computer several times. Lavigne will not show up in the InDesign list of fonts. Strange. Any idea what the problem might be?

Hi W0D44, & All

Thank you for being so patient. The team has fixed the issue with the latest InDesign update. Please update InDesign (17.2.1) to the current version and let us know if the issue is resolved. If you're still experiencing the issue, please try resetting the preferences and let us know if that helps.

We're here to help.

Thanks,

Harshika

Resetting the preference and rebooting don't work. I don't know what else I could do. Still showing just one font and missing the rest of the font family.

Go back to InDesign 17.1 or 17.0.1.

I downloaded the new version, restarted my mac & deleted file preferences and I still have the same problem! The font I need will just not show up even though it's downloaded (same problem as original poster). Can anyone help? I am getting a bit desperate.

Hi fellows,
Just wanted to share my recent experience,

17.2.1 release seems to haxe fixed the issue about unrecognized Fonts, but my team and I just faced an issue with Adobe Font. Despite having "auto-activate Fonts" ON, we had to manually activate them. Any of you had the same issue so far ?

I followed the proposed processes (turning Off/ back On auto-activate here and there) to see if it fixes the problem. We'll see what happens.
