Add Anchor Issue

InDesign to ePUB Conversion Issue:

1.  In InDesign document have multiple groups elements contains text thread frames.  So that unable to set as an Anchor.  However, when we convert from InDesign to ePUB then all group elements have placed at the end of the chapter.

2.  We tried another option i.e. "Export ePUB Reflowable" - Content - Same as XML Structure option.  It's also quit the application due to group elements moved in separate frames.

If you clear these bugs it would helpful to all.

You could try grouping the elements.

CUT them (edit>cut)

Create an image frame.

And when it's selected use Edit>Paste Into

Anchor that single frame with the group of images inside it.

Does that fix it?

If not - try creating a new InDesign file. And paste your graphics into the new document.

Save the new file into your Links folder or where the rest of your files are for the project.

Use File>Place to place the InDesign file as a single image.

You can edit that InDesign file to update the group of images.

And update your links in InDesign.

Thanks for your immediate reply. 

The first suggestion is not working, and the second suggestion it's working fine.  However, when we do the export ePUB all the elements as treated as an image so, we cannot use this option.

Kindly revisit this issue and provide the best solution.

Can you explain why the 2nd option is not good for you?

By the way - it's a user to user forum - I'm not an adobe employee, I'm a user just like you are. 

I don't have a better solution for you.

Can you please share more information on the goals you want and perhaps another user member can be of help.
