Hello all, does anyone know if there is a way to add the text variable window to your work space? Like you can with hyperlinks and swatches/colours/links ect ect.

Would be nice if there was.

At the moment I keep having to go Type>Text Variables>Define

And then cant interact with anything else while this window is open.

Cheers for the help!
Aidan

Hi @Aidan_C ,

you cannot do this, because that's the result of a menu command that leads to a dialog type of window.

You cannot working on with other things if the dialog is open. It is no floating window or palette.

The same with all the preferences dialogs for example.
