Can someone please enlighten me? We've all reported on this forum for weeks about the InDesign 17.2 fonts not showing up issue. This fourm is appropriately named "Adobe Support Community" and is hosted on Adobe servers. That being said, why does it take people upvoting on a UserVoice external forum in order for Adobe to address a widely-reported bug? Seems like a lot of time is wasted not addressing issues on this forum until someone deems it a big enough issue on another forum. If that's the case, why are there no direct links to UserVoice through this support community?
Since this bug is going on almost a month, it would be nice if Adobe reimbursed a month's subscription fee for all of the inconvenienced users who wasted time troubleshooting the issue and finding workarounds, but we know that will never happen.
Hi Andy5C85,
It's a phased rollout, and you'll definitely see the update notification soon in your Creative Cloud Desktop app. The fonts issues, as you know, it's a known issue, and the team is working on it to fix it on priority. You will see improvements in future releases of InDesign.
I appreciate your patience.
Thanks,
Harshika

Hi @Andy5C85 ,
Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please update InDesign to the latest version of InDesign, which is 17.2.1 and let us know if you're still experiencing the issue?
Regards
Rishabh

When will 17.2.1 be made available through Creative Cloud update? It is not currently available and no mention of that version is made on the Adobe website.
