Adobe InDesign Icon Broken/Missing and Unknown File Was Created During Save As Template

Dear All,

How to fix the broken icon file Adobe InDesign after store a file template and what is InDesign Lock File extension as per screen shot attached, the file was created after InDesign Save As Template and the Icon broken.

For the information the Adobe InDesign version is 18.3 (x64) for Windows.

Awaiting the advice.

The lock file is created automatically for each INDD file while it is open in InDesign. This lock file is used by the application to prevent the file from being opened in multiple sessions. We don't have to deal with the lock file explictly and it is deleted when the InDesign file is closed. For restoration of the file icon you could try refereshing the icon cache. As per @Manan Joshi is correct

The icon broken is a problem and I've reported this in the past and it still hasn't been fixed

@Vivek12 might have an idea for when this might be addressed.
