Adobe InDesign keeps crashing

Starting on May 16, 2024 my Adobe InDesign keeps crashing when it opens.  No new updates have been installed, I have uninstalled and reinstalled I have uninstalled cleared the preferences and cache and it doesn't matter what file I have opened it continuously crashes after opening a file and trying to click anything within the file.

Are you sure that you don't have auto-updates ruuning on your computer? Since you say that this all started on a specific day it seems possible that your operating system was updated without you knowing it which could lead to compatibility problems. If you are on a Mac - and new version of OS or InDesign has been auto-installed - InDesign might have lost its folder access priviledges.
