Is there a way to edit publish online files/links in the team. I only see the possibility for me alone but not my whole adobe team?

You're not missing anything. Only the account holder can publish updates.

You might experiment with .inddc files that are saved in the cloud. In the downloadable beta version of InDesign, an editability is being gradually introduced with a developing feature called InCopy on the Web.

Mike, the question was about being able to publish the document to Publish Online. Sharing the InDesign document doesn't do anything to help there.
