After applying Paragraph style, bellow all the formatting gets removed

Hi, having heart broken here with a 200 page document after a last update. 

Now after simple task, like loving text to new line, applying new Paragraph Style etc ID freezes for a second. Sometimes message: Text Autoflowing shows up, and all the formating in following pages i was making changes gets removed. Packaged the file, tried to open IMDL file in previous version - all of the formating gone. 

Please help, client is screaming, and i cant get this fixed for two days now 😞

When you post a question you always need to tell the program you are using

Did you try a trick with idml? Save your file as idml, open this idml and save as indd with a new name. Open this indd-file with new name, is your freezes still alive?

Please tell us your OS, hardware, and version of Indesign.

There are a number of known bugs now with Recent version of InDesign and Mac OS and M1 chips.
