Partie 1 -> 40 pages

Partie 2 > 38 pages

Hello, I have to create a catalog for my company, the complication and that the catalog must be done in 2 parts.

Part 1 :  40 pages

Part 2 : 38 pages

in total 78 pages

The first part must be numbered from 1 to 40 and the second part from 1 to 38. First question how to start a new numbering after page 40?

Second complication, part 2 must be upside down, let me explain: the fourth cover of my catalog will be the first page of part 2 and page "41" will be page 38 of my catalog, so third question how to reverse this numbering?

Last question part 2 of my catalog must be printed upside down, I have to turn my catalog vertically to have part 2 right side up, and I turn the catalog over vertically to then have part 1 to the place, so the edge of my catalog must always be on the left. How should we proceed on Indesign to achieve this manipulation?

Thank you a lot

So it's like two books combined, right? Back of one book is start of the second - when you flip it?

Just do both parts as a separate documents - at no point try to do it as one document.

Then, if you give it to print outside - they'll know what to do in order to print it correctly.

If you want to print it yourself - you'll have to print 1st part - single side - then add / remove pages, flip the paper and feed it again to your printer and print 2nd part.
