I would try to update to the current version, that is CC 2022. If that does not help, uninstall and install again. There should not be any problem with running CC 2021 or 2022.

Sorry to hear about that. I would like to know if updating to CC 2022 helps resolve the issue, as suggested by @Willi Adelberger? If not, I would request you to share a few more details with the one asked by @Creamer Training & @vladan saveljic:

  • Are you getting errors? If yes, please share the screenshot.
  • Are CC 2021 applications not launching or crashing on launch?
  • Are applications crashing after opening or while working on a specific file or after performing particular action?
  • Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, plugins, or web extensions installed recently.

 

Also, I would suggest you try the following steps and let us know how it goes:

  • Try running the app in Safe Mode  (Mac) & Root account (Mac) and check if Indesign is running without getting crashed.

  • If that doesn't help, uninstall the applications using the CC Cleaner tool, manually search Adobe in Mac & delete any residual Adobe-related folders & files and reinstall them all from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
