When I enter text into a polygon object, the aspect ratio alters in an unpredictable way as it grows, which means that during a text edit the sides of adjacent polygons no longer retain a matching slope. Is there any way of locking the aspect ratio of a hexagon box so that the slope of the sides remains the same?
Incidentally, the height-to-width ratio should be 1:1.1547
the only thing that could change the aspect ratio of a text frame ( regardless of its shape ) when text is edited are the Auto Size features you can find in the Text Frame Options. Check if Auto Size is doing this and disable that option.
