Authoring support for PostScript Type 1 fonts in InDesign ends February 2023

PostScript Type 1 fonts end of support announcement:

Adobe will end support for authoring with PostScript Type 1 fonts in InDesign by February 2023.  This decision is in line with modern operating systems and browsers ending support for Type 1 fonts, and moving towards supporting OpenType fonts that are more cross-platform compatible, provide richer linguistic support, and have better typographic control.

As a workaround, Type 1 fonts can be replaced by other fonts by following the find & replace steps mentioned in this link.

The Adobe Fonts service will not be affected by this change. Fonts activated through Adobe Fonts will continue to be supported everywhere you use them now.

Any OpenType or TrueType fonts installed on your machine will continue to be supported as well.
