Automated publishing in InDesign

Hi! Does anyone have contacts in Singapore/Malaysia for agencies which are able to help develop an automation script for InDesign for specific catalogue styles? I went on to the 'Find a Partner' page and couldn't find any based in Singapore/Malaysia.

Some background—we're a book distributor and we need to prepare multiple catalogues each month for printing and online viewing (PDF only), and each time we have about a thousand plus titles to feature in the catalogue. We're hoping to automate most of the process via scripting so we don't have to add in all the book details and cover images manually, and we have specific standard layouts that we'd prefer.

Any help/recommendations be most appreciated, thank you!

To add on—we've been using an old version of Quark Xpress to design and automate our catalogues and we're thinking of shifting over to InDesign instead since we already have licenses for Adobe's products.
