Hi people,

I need a script (JavaScript or VBScript) that looks an Excel file with 3 columns:

Page - Topic Level - Sort By

x       -       y             -        z

Then goes to InDesign in page x, search term y (only in this page) and, and if found, insert a New Page Reference as Topic Level y and Sort By as z

Finally, the script should create a log of the errors with the terms that were not found.

Page field may contain 1 or more Page Numbers separated by commas, as well as page intervals, all mixed.

Suggestions for how to create the script were welcomed.

And I also accept quotations in private.

Thanks, you all for your kindly attention.

Edson Furman

If you want that, you need more than tips!

It's just and simply a matter of time (some hours) and money!

Hi Fridge,

Would you do it?

If so, please send me your quotation.

Thanks,
