Bad performance after Indesign upgraded!!!

Hi all.We have a plugin which used to ajust text to fit the box. It run well before CC 2017,but after CC2019 it become so bad that costs multiple times of CC2017.
We even didn't change any code just run in different InDesign. With some resarch we found that this methods use more time than before.
Is there some changes after CC2019 which leads to become slow?

You didn't tell us the name of the plug-in, but did you check with them to see if they updated the plug-in? CC2019 is three versions old now, so be sure to tell them you are using old software.
