Hello,

I am using |nDesign for my Final Major Project of my Masters. As I am typing out something, a black box seems to appear over my text, as I type more, the box appears to get bigger and bigger.

I have seen elsewhere that removing underlines from text helps resolve this, but after having done this nothing seems to have changed.

I have attached images for reference.IMG_4653.jpegIMG_4654.jpegIMG_4656.jpeg

Any help would be appreciated as I am quite the ammateur with this software.

Hi Thanks so much for replying!

I have tried this (unticked the box) but it still seems to be happening!

What font do you use? It is a variable font?

Looks like some font trouble. Did you try to use another font/size?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of the OS & InDesign? Does it happen with a specific document? Have you tried changing the font as suggested by Anna? This information would help us assist you accordingly.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Ashutosh
