Could you please be more elaborate on what the issue is. Are you not able to open up an InDesign file? What is the version of InDesign that you are using and what is OS in use? How did you get this file, did you create it or it was sent to you by someone? Is the file on a local path or a network path.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this error. This generally happens when the file is saved on a Shared Folder/ Network Drive where multiple people can access it at the same time. Please copy paste the file at Desktop and change the name and then try to open it from Desktop.

I tried doing this and it disconnects all the stories since it's no longer cloud based, is there another way to approach this issue?
