I am trying to create a .pdf from InDesign 2022. I keep getting the ".pdf creation failed" error. I have attached screenshots of the error window and my iMac's details. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Assuming you're exporting to a folder where you have full permissions, the general troubleshooting for this is to export half the PDF. If it works, do the other half. Keep going until you find the troublesome page.

Hi @foxprintservices ,

also make sure that you do not have Acrobat Pro open if you did a successful export to PDF from the same InDesign document before and the PDF showed up automatically in Acrobat. Even when the older PDF is not visible in Acrobat and you did overwrite the one.

Did you try and Package the file? It will make a pdf in a nice folder with all the links or potential problems.

Hi @foxprintservices ,

I'd suggest to follow Bob's advice.

The folder you should have full permission to is your Desktop.

Thanks,
