Can't make package because missing plugin

Participant ,

Hi all,

We have an InDesign File (working on Windows 10 with InDesign CC2019) from a customer and they did use some external plugins.

We don't have those plugins and we don't need them.

We can work with the file, save the file, print a PDF ... but we can't make a package. We receive a error mesage that the plugins are missing. And we need to deliver the modified InDesign file to our customer.

Is there any way to make the package? Did I miss some settings?

Thank's for your help!

Dan

Try exporting the file as IDML and open from the exported file. That should strip out the plug-ins so that you can successfully package the file.

THANK YOU! Had the same challenge with a vendor template not allowing me to package - Extensis Font Manager plugin missing - and this worked perfectly.
