I am working on a long document (580p). Please see the screen shot. At the end of chapters, indesign sometimes drops the new chapter first page on its own, alone. Will this be a problem when the file is sent to KDP? Will KDP print the page on the left as the even page and the next page as the odd number page on the right? or will it skip a page?
How do I get these two single pages to become a 2 page spread? In this case from the screenshot, between the end of Chapter 11 and the start of Chapter 12
Thank you.
Select your pages in the pages pallet, and make sure that both options shown here are checked.
That should put your pages back where they belong.

Thank you. That worked, but only when I highlighted all the spreads in the document. Thank you!!

Is there a reason why that page is a B page and the rest are all A pages. I think maybe you have the Master pages set up wrong? It is hard to see in the photo but your master pages should be set up as side by side. Except for the first and last page. I attached a sample.

The B is a Chapter spread, formatted for new chapter beginnings (no headers, new chapter layout)

Are there section breaks in there?
