I have tried multiple times to put a ideo in InDesign and export it into a PDF - However, the video will  not play for me, when my colleague does it then it plays for her. We seem to be having some serious issues with this video as well as other linking issues to URL etc.

Please can someone point me in the right direction ?

The right direction is to give up on this. It's a fool's errand.

Multimedia in a PDF is mess and it won't get better any time soon, if at all.

There are plenty of other discussions here.

The fact that you don't like it doesn't make it unhelpful.
