Hi,
Is there a way to set a paragraph style, so that any figures in the text are in capitals? such as a Body Text paragraph style, so that any numbers that appear in the body copy are capitalised.
Thank you
I just found this..
Only for CS4 and newer:
a. Make a character style and call it "Caps". Set "Case" to "All Caps".
b. Add this GREP style to the paragraph style for your menus:
\b\l
and have it apply the style "Caps"
c. Done.

What do you mean, capitalized? I think I know what you might be asking; just need you to confirm.

Hi, the style of the brand font has drop numbers, but i need them to be all caps so the font looks better.
if you see the image attached, it shows the number in regular and in caps.
I did find a way to do it on another Adobe post. You can set it in the 'GREP style' of the paragraph style.
Thanks

Hi Ryan,
you could configure the paragraph style to do this.
Depending on your font that's an OpenType feature also available in your paragraph style.
One example from my German InDesign on Windows 10:
What's your font?
What's available with OpenType features and the formatting of digits?

In case you need a translation of Uwe’s screen capture you are looking for OpenType Features>Figure Style>Proportional Lining Figures, which usually are included as an alternate in OpenType text fonts. The preferred default is Proportional Oldstyle (lowercase) Figures because they blend in with body text.
