cc libraries

since the update to 19.2, items in the cc libraries are being shown as just a grey box and are marked as missing

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Can you confirm if it's happening with all the assets or any specific format? Are you able to use that asset in any other application or you're unable to use it only in InDesign? Please share the version of the operating system. We'll try our best to assist.

Hi,

I've had the same issue; I use a Mac (MacBook Pro with M1 chip, Sequoia) and never had any problems until the latest Adobe Illustrator update (29.6.1), where only the Libraries stopped working. They appear as a frozen image that I can’t access, use, or interact with at all and for me, that’s essential for my work.

What I have to do is restart my computer, and then I get about 10–15 minutes where I can use the Libraries. After that, they freeze again into an image and become unusable.

Personally, this only happens to me in Illustrator, libraries work fine in all other Adobe apps.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. To better understand the root cause of the issue, could you try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (macOS) and checking if it helps?
