Hi.
I'm designing a catalog with 8 chapters. Each one of them has a diferent color theme and master page. Titles, subtitles and table headers must follow chapter color.
Is there a way to automatically change color on paragraph styles without creating 8 diferent paragraph styles for title, 8 for sub1... and so on?
Thanks a lot!
If you separate the chapters into separate files - then create an InDesign Book.
You import all the documents into the book.
You can then have the 1 style in all documents.

You will still need to create some form of style (whether paragraph or character), otherwise how will InDesign know which colour to use, and in what order? I suspect a script is your best option, but even then, it will still need those styles to be created. Alternatively, 8 different files with a different colour in use, assembled at the PDF stage or via the book feature?

Creating those styles is not the problem. I have already done that. I just wanto to avoid creating 8 copies (one for each chapter).
Do you know any script to do that? If not, i'll try book feature.
Thanks, @Spenno

Using a book seems to be the best option so far. Thanks, @eugene
