Change template in existing document

So I have a library of documents based on an OLD template. We have created a new template and I would like to tell the document to look at the new template for the correct (updsated stylesheet) but can't find a way to CHANGE an existing template.  Is this possible and if so HOW?!?!?  🙂

In what way are your old documents connected to the template?

If the new info is on a Parent Page (master page), you could import the new Parent Page to the old documents.
