I'm a newbie in Indesign. I have a final project at uni that I have to present 16 boards with scale 1000mmx800mm each board. That means I have a layout with 8 columns and 2 rows. But in ID, the working sreen works in vertically, I don't know how to change it into horizontal or Indesign doesn't support that? Please tell me if anything I don't know or if it's possible to do it then how to do? Thank you. (And sorry for my bad English, I'm not a native English speaker)

Hello,

you should be able to accomplish what you want to do by unchecking Allow Document Pages to Shuffle.

Then in the pages panel drag the pages to the row you want them in until you're done.

If you want to create a poster consisting of several pages side by side horizontally and vertically, do following:

  1. Create a docuent with 8 pages, non-facing. (You can change facing to non facing in the File > Document setup …
  2. Don't allow shuffling pages in the page panel menu
  3. Move all pages with their thumbs into on spread.
  4. Select the page tool and move the pages to the position you want them.
