I cannot type the letter 'H' anywhere in my document. This is new, it used to, I must have hit a command without realising. I cannot find the solution.
I can type 'H' in all other documents I have open, and with the same font. Therefore, it is not a problem with my keyboard, or indesign, just this document.
It will allow me to copy and paste an 'h' from somewhere else in the document, but won't let me type it.
I have tried turning off ligatures, and deactivating then reactivating the font. Neither have worked.
Please help!
The document may have become corrupted. Try saving as IDML (File > Save As > InDesign CS4 or Later [IDML]. Reopen the IDML file to see if it has fixed the problem.

What happens when you try?

Absolutely nothing. Nothing types, and no space forward is created.

Does the H key work in other programs? Might actually be a bad keyboard.

It does. It even works in other indesign documents

I had the same issue with the letter T, saving as a IDML file did solve the issue right away!
