chartwell fonts - "opentype properties are not applicable"

I have downloaded the chartwell fonts and they have worked compelety fine

Now when I want to change the numbers I wrote to charts I get this message:

"opentype properties are not applicable"

How can I solve this?

I don't think it's stored as open type features. 

It should be a different style within the font like setting bold italic etc.
