Whenever I reopen InDesign 2024, some old files open themselves once the program is fully launched. These aren't files that were open when the program shut down, so they're not being recovered by the program - they just reopen themselves every time. Has this happened to anyone else?

Random files, or the same ones every time? Have you checked the folder designated in Preferences > File Handling > Document Recovery Data to see if the files are sitting in that folder? If yes, see if removing them helps.

A trashing of InDesign preferences would not hurt. Also, please check if you somehow have any 3rd party script or plugin installed, these could launch at InDesign load and do things.
