I’m going to move my cloud and colaborative sync’ing to Dropbox. Dropbox and other file syncing services work the same way as Adobe’s Creative Cloud Files folder.

I agree with @rob day's answer.

I especially like Dropbox and has found it to be pretty flawless for a collaborative workflow, as well as using as a backup location for all my essential work.

Dropbox is great but OneDrive is also a viable alternative.

Hi all, thanks for the tips - I the meantime I've tried OneDrive and will try google cloud next but the adobe cloud doesn't only has a fast sync with notifications everytime a copy element has been changed  - it also saves a  version history of the Indesign files. It was basically the same as working with Microsoft applications in the Microsoft ecosystem - the workflow is just not as smoot if you move it to another cloud ... or am I missing something here.

I've used both Dropbox and Adobe's Creative Cloud Files folder and the services are virtually the same. DB has the same incremental history and it's syncing is fast and in the background.

Thanks for your feedback! I've got 3 clouds already and didn't want to start using a fourth one but I might need to try Dropbox than ... bit annoying the whole situation considering Adobe just raised their prices as well.

OneDrive keeps a versioning history of all files, not just Office files. Works quite smoothly in my experience. The only extra step with OneDrive is that the people you share the folder with have to take the step of adding it to their OneDrive.
