I am trying to connect/thread my endnoote text frame to the main text frame. As you know, a knew text frame is made when you create endnotes, but is it possible to connect said frame to another existing frame?

Hi Sonia,

well, the answer is definitely no concerning the GUI.

The answer somehow could be yes when working by means of the scripting DOM.

But I do not know if that produces a stable InDesign document.

For example: You will not be able to produce an IDML file with the result where the endnote references are there.

May I ask why you want/need to do this? The reason may alter possible answers.

You can cut and paste the endnotes into the main body of the document, but it would have to be done each time you update any of the notes.

There is no other way to integrate the notes text/frame into the main document that I'm aware of.
