I know there is something when writing articles/stories etc... that you can insert "Continued on next page.. or on page xx"...

I must be overlooking it.

Hi,

If your article is written on threaded frames, which means a single story, you can use the "Next page number" and previous page number" markers to point to the next page where the next frame of the story is and previous page where the previous frame of the story is respectively.

The next page and previous page numbers are here:

Something like:

Otherwise for un-threaded frames you can use Insert and manage cross-references in InDesign

Hi,

The number refers to the "Next page" or the "Previous page" where you have the next or previous text frame of the threaded text frames.

The text "Continued on page" was added manually.
