Copy and Pasting Type From InDesign isnt working

As of today whenever I paste type from InDesign into illustrator I get a result like this. Has anyone been having this issue?

can you show the counterpart of the text in the InDesign layout?

How are your options in Illustrator's and InDesign's preferences regarding handling of contents from the clipboard?

What are your versions of InDesign and Illustrator?
On what operating system?

Did you consider CC Libraries to store the formatted text from InDesign and pull it out to your Illustrator artboard?
