Is there a quick way to insert a space after end of sentence. I have noticed a lot of errors where I have failed to make a space after end of sentence before start of new sentence.

I imagine there are a number of ways to approach that with GREP, etc., but unless it's a very long document I'd keep it simple by just doing a search for the period character and setting the Change field to [period][space]. Stepping through one find at a time (as opposed to clicking "Change All") will prevent accidental double spaces and instances in which the period was used as a decimal.
