Hello, I need to create 2 interactive InDesign files. The first file (which will be the main one) has a button that directs to the second file. The latter has a button that needs to direct back to the main file, but to a specific anchor on a particular page of this file.

I don’t know how to link the button in the second file to go to a specific anchor point in the other file. In fact, I’m not sure if it’s even possible. Can someone help me? Thank you very much.

Why not just combine the two files?

The project is a catalog with many products (around 800), which are updated daily, with deletions and new additions. The idea is that the main file (file 1) has its home, an index that directs to a page with a sub-index, and from that sub-index, it redirects to file 2, where all the products of that category will be listed. This would be to optimize the loading times of the document when publishing it online.
