Custom font no longer compatable.

Hi everyone, I have a custom font that was made for our company years ago. And when I told IT that it would no longer be compatable with adobe products, and try to find out if we can get it converted or send off somewhere to recreate it so it is compatable, he never did. And well with this last update I can nolonger use it. Does anyone know if this is possible and where I would start to look for a solution?

If it's a Type 1 font it is not supported anymore, you may be able to get it converted to an OTF (Open Type Font).

In terms of clean conversion, the general consensus appears to be Fontlab's Transtype
