Data merge

Hi all,
I am in the process of making badges for a seminar. So I used the Merge function of
data on Indesign, to retrieve info from an Ecxel file.
The problem is that the "é" "è" or the "ç" are replaced by other characters....
I can't find any solutions. If anyone has an idea!

Maybe try to export the Excel file to a txt file first and import this new file-

What is the encoding of your source datafile?

Hello, i'd try with CSV and TXT from excel but the problem still here....
