Datamerge can't import csv files anymore that were Excel and exported bij Numbers

Is this a error in Numbers or in InDesign.

I can merge the Excel file, but not the exported Numbers file. The only thing that works now is that I export to .txt file. Is this chanched in the update or what is the best way to connect for Datamerge.

Thanks, Henri

Hello,

I openend the Excel file and saw imediatly what was wrong. In the headerrow in the first cel was nothing placed. And that was the issue. After that the csv worked well... I think the pressure for the order was the thing I didn't look to well, excuses. Thanks for your time Eugene.

What's the file format of the exported Numbers file?
Sometimes datamerge won't work if it's the wrong filetype - or something structurally wrong with the data.

You'd need to examine your Excel export with your Numbers export in a text editor to determine what is the issue.
