How can I find all drop caps in a document and make them bolded?
If it was an applied paragraph style I could do it, but I did this before I had figured out paragraph styles and had thus applied the drop caps one at a time manually.
As you've already noted you should have used styles. Now? Try Find/Change and use the formatting options to find the drop caps. I would also recommend creating a character style for them so you can change them to that. That will give you the ability to fine tune everything with the style.
Add the paragraph style you want to change to the find field.

Thanks. Is there a way to apply the new paragraph and character style to all text but exclude the chapter headings?
When I apply the new style it also applies it to my chapter headings ie Chapter 1, Chapter 2 etc.
