Enlarge or reduce object proportionally with Shift does not work

Since one day I can't enlarge or reduce the object proportionally by holding the Shift key and using the mouse.

I have also not installed any programs such as an antivirus or similar...

Well, when things aren't working as they should the first step is to see if the problem is isolated to a single file, inwhich case exporting to .idml and opeing and saving that as a new .indd can often fix things, or if it's a general problem reset your preferences: Reset InDesign Preferences and Other Troubleshooting

You haven't told us what happens when you try, but to scale the object proportionally along with the containing frame using the Selection tool you need to add the Ctrl or Cmd key to Shift.

Dear Peter

I can scale the object up or down but the proportions are not maintained.
Even with Ctrl or Cmd key with the Shift key it stays like this...
