Hallo Leute,

wir sind am Überlegen, ob wir uns das Plugin LangoAI zulegen sollen.

Bisher war das Übersetzen von Katalogen eine Challange, da es zuerst zu einer Kollegin musste, die das Ganze mit ChatGPT übersetzte. Danach musste ich alles einpflegen ins Indesgin, danach ging es noch zu Nativspeaker. Und nochmachls einer Korrekturschleife.

Hat schon Jemand Erfahrung mit dem Tool?

I keep reading that plugins using DeepL are pretty good at language translation. LangoAI has another version that works through DeepL. If you are going for volume and quick translation, this works well. The downside continues to be the perception of translation according to someone with fluency and native tongue in a given language. Are you still going to run the translated text past a native speaker?

We have a glossary that we had previously integrated into ChatGPT. It worked very well there. If it is also used here in the plugin, that would be great.

Since there were over 800 corrections in the last catalogue (448 pages) and my colleague first had to incorporate them into the PDF and I then had to copy them into the Indesin document, it was very time-consuming.

So, yes, the in-app-plugin would certainly help the time consumption go way down. You should go for it just for that alone.
