Hi!
I learned InDesign from one YouTube video so my knowledge is very very limited. I had a file that is 43,536 KB (has videos, images, & links) and I have tried to upload 5x and I get the error code #16 every time. I do realize now that clearly my file is too large. I tried doing a save as to make it smaller (I googled and someone said that works) but it's still not uploading. I was able to create a review link (https://assets.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:US:51048b92-165c-4c6f-9793-832175a0b4b9?view=published) but none of the videos play.
Anyway, I need help. Pretend that you are trying to help yourself with one class of Indesign knowledge 😞
You need to ask program questions in the forum for the program you are using

The first thing I would do is to downsample the video files. This is the most common reasons files can be too big to publish. Use a utility like Handbrake to make them smaller. They will still look great when viewed. Try that first and let us know the result.

My company doesn't allow us to download Handbrake and if I try, I need admin credentials to download. I will look for other utlilities like Handbrake to see if my company allows. Thank you Diane!

Hope that helps and you should be able to find alternatives, Adobe Media Encoder, for example, I believe will downsample as well.

Hi there,
Sorry about the trouble. As of now, there are no size limits while Publishing a file. However, would it be possible for you to share the file's download link with us here or via DM? We will check it at our end. Also, you may ask your IT team to perform the steps suggested in these help articles (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/configuration-error.html) (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/upload-error-publishing-indesign-document.html) as it will require an admin password.
Let us know how it goes. We will be looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Anshul Saini
