Hey all,

Really seeking some help or guidance here, we've been experiencing issues with all of our users attempting to upload/publish a document within InDesign (This is occurring with all InDesign files and on all machines I've tested so far).

I have performed a fresh installation into a virtual machine running Windows 10 (10.0.18363.1854) and version 17.0 of InDesign where the issue is occurring also.

I have followed https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/upload-error-publishing-indesign-document.html#sa_src=web-messag... however disabling network proxy is not an option as we're an enterprise environment.

I can see 200's for reaching the endpoints mentioned in various Adobe support documentation however I have been able to identify that InDesign will ignore the PAC file and attempt to go directly to some Amazon endpoints which I think is causing the error.

I contacted Adobe Support via Chat and was advised my request was forwarded to an expert however I have received no communications since then or a reference number to persue the matter.

Is there any additional settings within InDesign where I can specify a proxy?

Many thanks in advance,

I'm really not sure on this one - sorry!

Perhaps @Vivek12 or @Srishti Bali  could help with this?

It has been over 5 weeks since posting this and I have not had any support from Adobe.

It is terrible that this is your support avenue is to tell users to post on your forums to then have no follow up at all.

Please provide me an avenue to reach your support team or escalate this further.

Samuel.

I did, and have not received a response. I followed up on the 16th and still nothing.

I was advised by chat support to post on these forums and post on the uservoice (Which is not a bug reporting platform but a feature request platform) as they were unable to assist, unfortunately I do not have those chat logs.

There is a bug reporting form.

Report bugs or make a feature request

https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

It's not just a feature request.

If there is a bug reporting form why was I told to post on a uservoice by Adobe Chat support., which is not a platform for reporting bugs as it requires community engagement for a post to get traction?

The wishform you linked redirects to the UserVoice.

Here is my user voice post from the 12th of November which has had no engagement at all - https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/44433765-error-39-an-er...

I've no idea I don't work for adobe and I wasn't part of your conversations.

The link I posted should go directly to the bug reporting form.

@Ashutosh_Mishra perhaps you can help out here?
